Unfortunately, doctors are getting reimbursed much less while having to see more patients. Managed care, HMO’s and insurance companies are cutting costs and authorizing less services to increase profits at your expense. Doctors often find their hands tied because they can’t get authorization for what you really need.

So what’s the solution? You have to take control and be responsible for your own health. You have to decide that your health is more important than what your insurance will cover. In other words, if you were going to die and your insurance was not going to cover what you needed, would you pay the difference or cash altogether if you had to? The answer is probably yes, as long as you could feasibly afford it.

How Much Will Care Cost?

The cost of care in our office is different for everyone because you are unique. The longer you’ve had symptoms, the more severe they are and the more symptoms you have will warrant more treatment than milder and less prolonged complaints. Since we have basic chiropractic, Brain Based and Oxygen Enhancement therapy, massage therapy, full one-on-one pilates based rehabilitation and functional medicine, some will need more or less of these services which will drive costs up or down. We will recommend what you need and not just what your insurance covers, while still giving you choices. If we recommend only what is covered, it can be detrimental to your health.

The bottom line; in most cases we can make our care affordable to you regardless of how much care you need!  We have many options and monthly payment programs available.

Will My Insurance Cover Treatment?

In many cases it will cover some. If you call us, we would be happy to look into it for you. Just be aware, that in many cases the coverage can be limited. Some plans have such a low reimbursement rate that we have been better off giving you a credit for what they would have paid. Yes, we may agree to a partial or full credit for what would have been covered, even though we do not belong to your particular plan.
